01Who we are
Finally Happening (“we”, “us”) is run by Finally Happening. We provide wedding websites at finallyhappen.ing. You can reach us at hello@finallyhappen.ing.
These terms apply when you create an account, buy a plan, or use a wedding website we host. Please read them with our Privacy Policy, Refund Policy, Cookie Policy and Acceptable Use Policy.
02What we provide
A wedding website for a couple: pages for your story, the day, your venue and your photos; a personal invitation, code and link for each guest; replies (RSVPs) with meal choices and dietary needs; wishes, song requests and a photo wall; and an admin panel to run it all.
What each plan includes is described on our plans at the time you buy it. Higher plans add features such as the seating planner, exports, sending emails to your guests from the site, and using your own web address.
03Your account
- You must be 18 or over to create an account or buy a plan.
- Give us accurate details and keep your password private. You are responsible for what happens in your account.
- Sign-in is handled for us by Supabase. If you sign in with Google, Google's terms also apply to that sign-in.
- Tell us straight away at hello@finallyhappen.ing if you think someone else has got into your account.
04Plans, prices and payment
- Every plan is a single payment. There is no subscription and nothing renews automatically.
- Prices are shown in pounds sterling and include any tax we are required to charge.
- You can move up to a higher plan at any time and pay only the difference between the two prices.
- Payments are taken by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
- Your site is created and switched on as soon as your payment is confirmed.
05Your right to cancel
The law usually gives you 14 days to change your mind about buying digital content. Because your website is created and made available to you immediately, at checkout you ask us to start straight away and you acknowledge that you lose that right once your site is created. The same applies to upgrades, which take effect immediately.
This does not affect your rights if something does not work as described: see our Refund Policy.
06How long your site stays online
We keep your site online for at least 12 months after your wedding date, and in any case for at least 2 years from when you first paid. After that we may take it offline, but we will email you at least 30 days beforehand, and you can ask us to keep it running or to send you a copy of your guest list, replies, wishes and photos.
07Your content
- You keep ownership of everything you add: text, photos, your film and your guest list. You give us permission to store, copy and display it only so that we can run your site.
- You confirm you have the right to use what you upload (for example, photos you took or have permission to use) and that the people shown in them are happy for them to appear.
- Guests keep ownership of the wishes, photos and song requests they add. By adding them they let us show them on your site. You can remove anything a guest adds.
08Your guests' information
When you add guests, you decide whose details are collected and why, so for that information you are in charge (in data protection terms, the “controller”) and we act on your instructions (the “processor”). The data processing terms in our Privacy Policy form part of these terms.
Only add people you are actually inviting, use their details only for your wedding, and never use the guest list or the Email studio for marketing or anything unrelated.
09Emails you send from the site
- Emails you write in the Email studio are sent on your behalf, from our sending address, with your names shown as the sender. Replies go to your own email address.
- Each plan includes a number of emails, shown on the plans. Emails only go to guests whose addresses you have added.
- To protect every couple's emails from being treated as spam, we may pause sending from a site if many emails bounce or are reported as spam, and we will tell you why.
10Other services we connect to
Some features rely on other companies: Stripe for payments, Supabase for sign-in, Resend for email, and Apple's music search for song covers and previews. Their own terms apply to your use of them. We choose them carefully, but we cannot control them, and a feature that depends on one may change if that company changes what it offers. If that happens to something you paid for, the Refund Policy explains what we will do.
11Keeping things running
We work hard to keep every site online and fast, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted, for example during maintenance or an outage at a provider. We may improve or change features over time. We will not remove a feature you paid for from your site during the period in “How long your site stays online” without offering you a fair alternative or a refund for it.
12Suspending or closing a site
We may remove content or suspend a site that breaks these terms or our Acceptable Use Policy, and where we reasonably can we will tell you first and give you a chance to put it right. You can ask us to delete your site and account at any time by emailing hello@finallyhappen.ing.
13Our responsibility to you
- If we fail to meet these terms, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result of our failure. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable.
- The service is for personal, non-business use, so we are not responsible for business losses.
- We are not responsible for things outside our control, such as what your guests do or decide, your venue, or the wedding being moved or called off.
- Apart from the above, our total responsibility to you is limited to the amount you paid us.
- Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit. Your legal rights as a consumer are not affected.
14Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If a change matters for you, we will email you before it takes effect. The terms in place when you bought a plan apply to that purchase.
15Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes may be brought in its courts. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings there. If something goes wrong, please talk to us first at hello@finallyhappen.ing: we would much rather put it right.
